The second very important thing when you are preparing for the childbirth is to know as many details as possible. For example, you should ask your doctor anything that you want to know about, for example, Cesarean section, natural or epidural delivery. Don’t be shy. It is normal that you are curious about these things and that you don’t know all answers. The more you know, the better you can prepare your body and your mind.
Try to strengthen your body and mental abilities. There are many ways of how you can do this. For example, you can start with some fitness classes that are specially designed for the expectant mothers. In additional, it is proven that the yoga can help you to get back your focus and mental power in general. These things are very important and you should do your best before you step into the delivery room.
Although there are some trainers and educators who teach people to listen, read or watch negative examples of childbirth because, this is their explanation, these “horror” stories can help us to make some kind of specific blockade for pain. This is not true.
You should do just the opposite. Avoid any unpleasant events and all other things that can affect negatively on your body and mind. You have to be relaxed and positive before childbirth, not depressed or scared.
Finally, you have to find people that will be there for you all the time. It should be trained professionals; people who will know how to help you in any situation.
